How Go360Live works
A camera rig where the work is, a consult in the browser for everyone who needs to see it, and a record of what was seen.
The rig: a 360° camera that goes where the work is
The rig is a 360° camera on a compact touchscreen computer, made to be run by whoever is on site: a nurse, a site foreman, a venue manager. They are not users of the platform and never need to be.
- Four steps on the screen: switch on, connect to a network, the camera readies itself, the consult begins
- No account and no password on site: the rig carries its own camera key, issued by your administrator
- Streams the whole 360° scene live, with the sound of the room, over whatever network the site has, wired, Wi-Fi or cellular
- Optionally, records the 360° picture on the rig itself and uploads it after the consult, in case of network loss*
* Recording is enabled or disabled, and configured, by the meeting organizer.
The consult: everyone looks around for themselves
A consult is scheduled on your organization’s calendar and the people who need to be there are invited by email, with a calendar invitation. They join in a browser, with nothing to install.
- The live 360° picture fills the stage; each participant turns and zooms it independently, so the engineer looks at the beam while the adjuster looks at the floor
- Talk with the person on site and with each other over the built-in audio and video conference
- Share a screen in front of the picture, and chat alongside it
- Take pictures of the stream as you look at it; they are saved to the consult for everyone
- Open a consult to guests with a link, with no account needed, when you choose to
The record: what was seen, kept with the consult
When a consult ends it does not disappear. Everyone who was in it, and the organization’s administrators, can go back to it.
- Every picture taken during the consult, in a gallery
- The chat, as it happened
- The recording of the 360° stream as the rig captured it
- Storage and retention set per organization, so records are kept as long as your rules say and no longer
- Usage by month: consults, minutes and what is stored
Administration and security
Each organization on Go360Live is its own space, with its own people, cameras, consults and records. Administrators run it from the browser.
- Administrators manage staff, decide who may join consults, and issue and revoke each camera’s key
- Sign-in with two-factor authentication; platform staff are required to use it
- Every camera has its own key, kept in the rig’s secure vault and never shown again; a lost rig exposes only itself
- An audit trail of what was done to the organization’s set-up, and by whom
- Encrypted in transit
- Support tickets raised from inside the platform and answered by a person
